You might be lost if you answered in the following ways:

1. Does your life lack direction and purpose?  (yes)

2. Do you have a sense of God’s higher call upon your life?  In other words, do you feel your career pursuits are the Lord’s plan for your life or are they your own plan?  (My plan)

3. Do you have an awareness that something is missing in your life?  In other words, does there seem to be a spiritual void in your life?  (yes)

4. Do you have an appetite for the things of God?  In other words, is there a desire to study God’s Word, come into His presence through prayer, and tell others about His saving grace?  (No)

5. Do spiritual disciplines bore you?  (Yes)

6. Can you go out partying on the weekend, drink alcohol, swear, etc., and then faithfully attend church on Sundays without feeling any guilt?  (Yes)

7. Do you feel uncomfortable hanging out with Christians who talk about Jesus or do you feel more comfortable hanging out with a non-religious crowd?  (Non-religious crowd)

8. Is attending church something you look forward to each week or is it strictly a habit or discipline you “force” yourself to do because you know it’s the right thing to do?  (Make myself go)

9. Are you ever knowingly aware of God’s discipline or chastisement in your life?  (No)

10. Do thoughts about the Lord occupy your mind throughout the week?  In other words, are you aware of God’s presence in your life or does He seem aloof and distant?  (No, aloof and distant)
